America's VetDogs is proud of its reputation as a charitable organization and maintains attention to fiscal responsibility.

More than 80% of each donated dollar goes towards our programs to fulfill our mission.  America’s VetDogs is managed by the same management team as its parent organization, the Guide Dog Foundation, and maintains the same attention to fiscal responsibility.  America’s VetDogs has been recognized by the Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance as an accredited charity that meets their “Standards for Charity Accountability” and is a GuideStar Exchange Silver Participant.  VetDogs has also been identified by The Patriots Initiative as an accredited charity that meets their best practices that most effectively support our nation's armed forces communities.  Although America’s VetDogs meets the criteria to be reviewed by the various charity watchdog organizations, it has not yet been rated.  We hope to be rated in the near future.

Charity Navigator has rated VetDogs parent organization, the Guide Dog Foundation, as a “3-star charity."  The Foundation is also listed as “Top-Rated” by Charity Watch (formerly known as American Institute of Philanthropy) with a grade of “A,”  and is a GuideStar Exchange Silver Participant.  The Foundation has also been recognized by the Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance as an accredited charity that meets their “Standards for Charity Accountability."

The America's VetDogs EIN number is 20-8814368.
